This fabric is far superior to most fabrics for their usage in an outdoor environment but they do need proper care and cleaning since they can deteriorate after normal use and exposure to the elements.

The proper way to ensure that your outdoor Sunbrella cushions last a long time and are always in their best condition is to wipe any spills or stains immediately as well as brushing off any pollen and debris and take them in every night.  Unfortunately, most people will leave their outdoor cushions out day and night.
